My journey so far has been one of many years, many places, many stories, many hats. So this journey is not something new, just another move (number 43). But this time I am stepping to the online road with website, blogging, face book, twitter, etc. I am looking forward to exploring each area and the potential for learning new stuff .
What I have so far is a web site: www.winnartroom.com where I have posted a web/brochure for the Art Room offerings. I opened the Art Room two years ago when I moved to Winnemucca, Nevada. I wanted to continued providing art expreiences for kids, teens and adults but without traveling to schools and other sites. I set up my own room with supplies and an inviting space for creating art for up to 10 participants. During the two years we have had great success with the lessons and projects and workshops. The result can be seen on artsonia.com where all the students art work is posted online.
I also have taken pictures of the artwork at the local high school as part of a partnership of business/school program. I volunteer to post the pictures on my artsonia page to showcase the local high school students artwork as well as generate activity on my Art Room page. And what a success!
